Dream it, believe it, and achieve it. With this motto our Lt. Chairperson S. Raghbir Singh Dhah started this institution in 2002 in this lush green and pollution free environment with a mission to make each child into a wholesome human being who will eventually believe and work towards service before self which is our School motto. He had a very hard time, with his tireless efforts, remarkable vision and passion for inculcating core values at every stage with the right blend of academics, sports and activities, the glorious heights are achieved by this school.
In 2014,the entire fraternity of Shiv Chand Public High School, was in shock when we lost our Honorable Chairperson S. Raghbir Singh Dhah. It was a tough time for every member of this family. As he dreamt that every child has the right to education to fulfil his/her dreams. The school saw significant addition to the organization in the form of our Chairman, his son Mr.Manjit Singh Dhah. He has taken full responsibility to fulfil his dreams. This was not an easy task but our respected Chairman Mr.Manjit Singh Dhah and his wife Mrs. Navraj Kaur Dhah and his sister Mrs.Rajinderpal Kaur Sunner have done every possible effort for the growth of our students. In the brief of 16 years of existence this institution has established itself as a premier institution of learning, providing quality education and I considered it my proud privileged to be associated with such a prestigious Institution.
Shiv Chand Public High School is equipped with Excellent Infrastructure, a huge Sports Ground, Excellent Library, Music Room, Science Lab, Computer Lab, Maths Lab, Spacious, Multitasking Auditorium, Smart Classes and CCTV cameras. It is indeed a place where Health and Hygiene, Safety and Vigilance for every child are monitored at all times.
This temple of education is made more out of our love, passion and zeal than mere brick and mortar. All of us, who have been associated with this institution in whatever capacity, share the same enthusiasm, commitment and belonging irrespective of position and possession, this makes this institution unique. The children who are under our guidance are the focal point of our existence. We find new ways of making their discovery of life interesting at each step so that they are eager to unravel the mystery of life aroused them. It is our constant endeavour to instil values of honesty, integrity and open- mindedness to make them the icons of tomorrow with these guiding principles of mind. Here we create a eminent where our children have the confidence to learn, the freedom to fail, where they can discover what really matters to them and realize their potential for the coming years. Here we have Individual learning plans which shows we care for our children and we want them to change the “I can’t into the “I can”.

We create an identity for ourselves, we do not create comparisons with neighbouring school or any other school in the world. We set our benchmarks and we improve them.
If what we teach has nothing to do with health and happiness of a child. His senity and survival what then  our education worth. Inter class and inter house activities in the form of Drama, Games, Poetry, Art & Craft, Quizes, Music, Storytelling, Celebration of National and International Days, Dance, Field Trips and Bank Trainings are a regular features in our school. Other than this our students participate in Inter school activities also. Our students have played football matches at state level. As most of the students are not aware of which career they are going to choose after school so we keep on organizing “Career Counselling” workshops for our students.
We organise special workshops for our girl students on their personal hygiene and how they should protect themselves if somebody tries to harm them. Children are our strength and inspiration; we trust that we will send into this world children who are compassionate and sensitive with the strong sense of self worth. Our students will work hard in their lives and make their parents and school proud. We hope they’ll reach the zenith of their potential and becomes wise and successful human beings and make this world a better place and that will be the test of their privileged education.
At last but not the least I wish to express  my gratitude to every parent, every teacher, every student who did his best to build this edifice of excellence. The progress of any institution depends on a committed faculty, supportive administrative staff, and a large pool of resources, responsible students, and co-operative parents. We are really lucky to have all this.
